This is a very exciting time in your child's development. Your child will be using a formal preschool curriculum called A-Beka Curriculum.  This curriculum will develop essential skills and provide opportunities for your child to learn the following:

Language Arts

• Recognition of name, sound, and picture for short vowels and consonants

• Language development and listening skills that include color words, shapes, animals, transportaion, countries, community helpers, health, safety, manners and science

Writing

• Formation of vowels and consonants in upper and lower case

• Writing of first name

​

Numbers

• Simple counting 1-30

• Number concepts 1-15

​

Arts and Crafts

• Colors, shapes, following directions, and eye-hand coordination

​

Bible

• Lessons taughts on Creation, Noah, Samuel, Daniel, boyhood of Jesus, Zacchaeus, and the Good Samaritan

• Memorizing 10 Bible Verses
